The Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić visited the SFS in Paraćin at the beginning of December. At this special event, the chairman of the board of GlobalGlass, Mr Igor Lah and the general manager of Steklarna Hrastnik and the director of SFS, mag. Peter Čas, in addition to the Prime Minister, hosted other high-ranking guests, including the Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade, Tomislav Momirović, the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Serbia, Mr Damjan Bergant, important representatives of the municipality of Paraćin, representatives of important institutions, business partners, employees of SFS Paraćin and other guests.
At the event, it was emphasized that the glass factory in Paraćin has an interesting and diverse history and that it is not unknown even during difficult times. However, the glass packaging factory now has the potential to become a star. Special thanks were expressed to the Government of the Republic of Serbia and all its institutions, which showed strong support for the idea and vision with their work, exceptional response and trust. Under the auspices of GlobalGlass, SFS will expand globally and build awareness that packaging glass is a safe and sustainable future.
In a special address at the event, the Prime Minister, Mrs Ana Brnabič, emphasized that the country has fulfilled its promise to find a strategic partner for SFS, which now has a secure future and great potential. The glass factory in Paraćin is important for the entire country, not just the city of Paraćin.
