On July 24, 2023, the Serbian glass factory celebrates the 115th anniversary of the first production of glass products. In its more than 100 years of operation, the glass factory has already faced many challenges, but the tradition of Paraćina glass remains firmly rooted in the values of SFS and is also important for the Yugoslav and national development of glassmaking.
The vision of the SFS in Paraćin under the auspices of the Swiss owner Vaider Group is to be a leading glass producer in the Balkans, building upon a hundred-year-old tradition, improving existing technologies, and introducing new ones. The foundations of the new era of the glass factory have already been laid, as we will soon witness the splendour of the new furnace and the increased capacity of daily glass production.
On the occasion of the 115th anniversary, we will be paying tribute to this significant milestone by looking towards the future and embracing new designs and expertise. As part of our celebration, we are excited to announce an upcoming competition where you can get a design free of charge.
